Question: I already have a domain name. Can I use that?
Answer:
Yes but the name servers must be pointed at our servers.
Question: Will I be charged an annual hosting fee?
Answer:
No that is included as part of the monthly fee.
Question: Who owns the domain name WSME provide?
Answer:
The domain name will be registered on our system but with you as the owner. In the event that you wish to transfer the domain to a different registrar there will be an admin fee of £25.
Question: Is there a minimum term I have to have the web site?
Answer:
Yes , 12 months then only 1 months notice to cancel.
Question: Who owns the web site?
Answer:
In essence you are renting the web site from WSME. All the content you provide (i.e. images and text) belong to you. The template and coding of the site belong to WSME. See terms and conditions section 6.
Question: Can I supply you images to use that I have found on search engines?
Answer:
We don’t advise this method as the images may be copyright protected. If you are supplying images you must have written permission to use the images if they are not yours. If you have purchased images from a reputable reseller you will need to provide a copy of the licence. Any infringement will be your responsibility. See terms and conditions section 5.
Question: Where do WSME source your images?
Answer:
WSME currently uses istock or fotolia for stock images. Any image WSME supply for your sight we be licensed by us. See terms and conditions section 6.
Question: How do I pay?
Answer:
The set up charge is payable via Pay Pal, bank transfer or cheque by prior agreement, we will email you an invoice with a link to our payment page. The set up charge is payble in advance of work commencing.
The monthly charge is payable via monthly standing order.
Question: How long will it take to get my web site up and running?
Answer:
Our aim is to have it live within 14 days of receiving the set up charge. But it usually depends on how fast you send us the text and images you want to use and the package you have chosedn. The larger the site th elonger it will take but it can be as quick as 3 days.
Question: I do not have a logo or company branding, can you help?
Answer:
Yes. For an additional charge we can design a logo and brand for your company.
